M.A.G. Marine Dinghy Doc
M.A.G. Marine's Dinghy Doc makes bording a safer and easier process.
March 30, 2006
Boarding and disembarking from dinghies can be a real hassle - not only awkward, but also
dangerous, especially when you're in open water. Dinghies have a habit of drifting either too far
away from the swim step, or dipping under it, causing damage to the dinghy, as well as pinched
fingers and arms. M.A.G. Marine has launched a docking system called "Dinghy Doc" that attaches
directly to the swim step of your boat, alleviating these problems. The Dinghy Doc employs a system
of two tie-off points that are mounted to the swim step - one for the bow and one for the stern. By
using two instead of one, your dinghy is more stable, therefore making boarding a safer and easier
process. The Dinghy Doc is available in two models, one for hard-sided dinghies and personal
watercraft ($249) and one for soft-sided dinghies ($189). (800) 642-9942,
