Birds Be Gone

Birds Off Boats has created a bird control product specifically designed to keep birds from landing on boat, balcony, and even dock railings.

Boaters often search for ways to keep pesky birds off of their boats. One area in particular where birds are a common problem is the railing. Birds Off Boats has created a bird control product called the Rail Guard Kit, specifically designed to keep birds from landing on boat, balcony, and even dock railings. This deterrent consists of two special brackets, 50 feet of black twine and two springs. Once installed on the railing, the brackets flip up with the taut twine suspended above the railing, preventing even larger birds like pigeons and sea gulls from landing there. According to the company, it's just as easy to move out of the way whenever desired - the brackets can be folded down when not in use, so the handrail can be used. The brackets are adjustable to fit different sized railings up to 2 2/3 inches in diameter. The Rail Guard Kit retails for $45.00. (310) 527-8000, www.BirdsOffBoats.com.
