First Impressions

Formula has long been known for seamlessly combining the ingredients for luxury and performance in its Sun Sports, and the 350 is no exception.Brand new for 2008, the 350 SS is Formula’s largest Sun Sport to date, with a wealth of amenities to take the dayboating experience even further.
Checking out the cockpit area, you see there’s an abundance of comfortable seating, notably the wraparound U-lounge that converts to either a table arrangement or a large sunpad.Fifteen stainless-steel cup holders secure drinks from just about every position in the cockpit — a convenient feature for entertaining large parties on board.
At the helm, there’s a fullfeature stereo remote control on the dash, which commands the six speakers, separate tweeters and iPod/-MP3 port. Integrated steps ahead lead through the center walk-through windshield, providing safe, easy access to the deck, a valuable feature for families. A sliding/locking door with a screen leads you to the spacious cabin, which holds a queen-sized bed with memory foam and a flat-screen TV, as well as cherryfinished cabinets and Corian countertops in the new cubic-style galley.
The 350’s ride is just as smooth as its styling. While cruising off Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast, you can tell this boat is equipped to handle the offshore conditions —it takes hard turns well without losing speed and slices through the wakes without pounding.
Whether powered with Volvo or MerCruiser gas or diesel engines, from 300 to 425 hp, the ride is smooth and fast. One thing is certain — no ingredient has been left out of this Formula.
