1. Make sure the engine is shut off, the key is removed from the ignition and the shift is in neutral. Separate the speedometer pickup hose. Remove the torque tab. Remove the nine bolts holding the gearcase on and lower it.
Remove the four bolts holding the water-pump housing on. Remove the impeller. Install all the components of the kit, and reverse the process to install the gearcase.
2. Get a SELOC manual and follow the same procedure. The manual will have pictures.
3. Take it to a dealer who is comfortable doing the job right the first time.
