Baked-on road grime, rust, oil, exhaust and waterline stains can make a fiberglass hull look worn out and old before its time. But the usual solution -Â scrubbing with abrasive rubbing compounds -Â can damage the hull and take away gelcoat shine as you remove grime. Davis FSR Fiberglass Stain Remover might be an ideal solution. It can be used anywhere on the boat, on any fiberglass, stainless steel or white-painted surface Â- including decks, tackle consoles, rails and hardware; and inside lockers, bait wells and stowage compartments. Brush or sponge it on the surface, wait a few minutes, then rinse it off Â- and the stain will be gone. A 16 ounce container sells for $9.95.
