The First Kayak Descent of this Gorge is Actually Insane

These kayakers just completed a feat that was “way beyond anything anyone’s ever attempted in a kayak.”

A group of professional kayakers headed deep into the jungle in Papa New Guinea to complete the first descent of the Beriman Gorge, a 25-mile run lined with sheer limestone walls that rise up to 4,000 feet above the river.
