It’s well known that boaters are always the first to step up and help other boaters, and it appears that generosity extends to the marine industry as a whole, as this news from HOSTAR Marine Transport Systems shows.
In the wake of hurricane Sandy, HOSTAR Marine Transport Systems has pledged its immediate support to marina and yard customers in need of replacement parts, equipment or service. The company, which builds hydraulic and self-propelled yard trailers, as well as large hydraulic road trailers, is already responding to calls for help from businesses affected by the devastating storm.
“We know the weeks ahead will require many boats to be moved, and we are helping customers get their equipment up and running as quickly as possible. We already have a trip planned to the Neptune, New Jersey, area next week to repair a yard trailer. It was submerged under 6′ of water after Sandy, and unfortunately, the marina’s buildings were washed away,” said Dwight Stimson III, COO of HOSTAR.
“Our hearts go out to everyone who was affected by the storm, and we hope the impending Nor’Easter doesn’t cause further damage. For anyone needing boat stands, dollies, trailer parts or equipment, HOSTAR is ready to assist,” he continued.
The company can be reached at 800-783-9303 or email@example.com.
