Regal Reports Best Month Since Before the Downturn

Orlando, Florida | Tuesday, May 11, 2010 12:00:00 AM PST

ORLANDO – Regal Marine Industries, Inc. announced today that in April 2010, Regal experienced its best month for product shipments since September of 2008.

“This is encouraging,” commented Duane Kuck, president and CEO. “Throughout this economic downturn we have been working very hard to strengthen our position as a company by strongly supporting our existing worldwide network of premier dealers, bringing onboard new ‘A-level dealers,’ keeping our quality Regal team members intact, and building our new Regal Factory Showroom.”

“We are family owned, financially sound and conservatively managed,” continued Duane Kuck. “We’ve been in business for over forty years and because we are an independent entity we have the ability and freedom to offer a greater level of innovation and agility. I believe these are the strengths and qualities that today’s dealers are looking for when partnering with a manufacturer.”

Regal Marine Industries, Inc. has two production plants; one located at the Regal World Headquarters in Orlando, Fla., and a second plant in Valdosta, Ga., that together, employ 450 team members.

“We shipped 150 boats in April and we anticipate May to be a strong month as well,” remarked Tim Kuck, executive vice president and COO. “We are headed in the right direction; however, we continue to remain cautiously optimistic, knowing it will take time before we, and the industry as a whole, return to the rate of production and boat sales that we enjoyed prior to 2008.”
