As resilient as the people who live here, the fishing continues to rebound at the Jersey Shore in the wake of Hurricane Sandy’s destruction. It’s especially heartening to see the striped bass are biting again as many had written the bass off after the storm. There aren’t a lot of keepers being taken, but there seems to be plenty of shorts around to keep anglers happy.
At the same time, bottom fishing, when the weather cooperates, has provided plenty of action on blackfish, cod, and ling.
