Sea-themed carousel set for Battery Park

The $12 million ’21st century’ ride will simulate fish-swimming patterns and will emit light from within at night. The ride is set to open in October, but ticket prices have yet to be determined.

There’s something fishy about this carousel.

But fishy in a good way. SeaGlass, a $12 million merry-go-round that will open in October in Battery Park, is a state-of-the-art carousel that features dolphins, angelfish and other sea life darting in several directions on four rotating tracks.
