Founding Fathers

Never Been Christened

We know some of our country’s founding fathers spent considerable time on boats. Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson crossed the Atlantic more than once, and George Washington made a memorable crossing on what he probably wished were a larger vessel, but we’ve not heard any stories of them naming a boat. We’re here to help. If these founders had owned a boat, here are our suggestions for a name.

George Washington: George UU > George III
Patrick Henry: …Or a Boat
Ben Franklin: Kite-Kraft
Thomas Jefferson: I Do Declare
John Hancock: Signature Achievement
