.Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...At 21Z, or 1 PM PST, a 1010 mb surface low was
around 300 NM southwest of Point Conception. This surface low
will continue to move northward across the offshore waters and into
the northern California coastal waters through Thursday. Rain with
a chance of thunderstorms is expected tonight into Thursday morning.
Moderate to strong southeasterly flow will continue into Thursday
along with choppy, short-period hazardous seas.
