    Schooner Unearthed After Recent Storms

    The beach near Arklow has recently revealed a 16m section of oak hull, which appears to be the remains of a schooner. Unfortunately, the structure has been damaged by vandals. The uncovering of the wreck was caused by the stormy weather that had removed the sand from the beach.
