Their Daily Commute was the Perfect Spot for a Ferry-Tale Wedding

As the 6:40 p.m. boat to Hull pulled away from the dock, Doug and Jennifer exchanged vows.

At the 6:40 p.m. ferry to Hull, Doug MacElhiney and Jennifer McGill’s wedding began with a unique greeting. Ian Wells, their friend, addressed the crowd of invited guests and the surprised onlookers on the second floor of the boat. He said, “Friends, family . . . and fellow commuters.” As the vessel pulled away from the dock, the couple exchanged their vows.
