“I always had a strong connection to the sea,” he explains, “so I wanted to do something to help protect it.”
Konrad Bergström, the founder of X Shore, has a deep-seated passion for the ocean. His grandmother was from a fishing family and his grandfather was from a maritime family, so the sea was a part of his childhood. As he grew older, he noticed the ocean becoming more polluted, with plastic and other debris, and fewer fish. This inspired him to create X Shore, a Swedish company that is revolutionizing the private boating industry with its line of electric yachts, in order to help protect the ocean.
