Regulator Kicks Off 30th Anniversary Model Year with Product Upgrades to Deliver the Offshore Life in Any Waters

EDENTON, NC – Regulator Marine, manufacturers of the finest in offshore sportfishing boats and purveyors of the Offshore Life, announces upgrades to every model in the line as they enter the company’s 30th anniversary year. With more of everything boaters and anglers have come to expect from Regulator’s standout center console sportfishers, the 2018 fleet delivers the fit, finish and ride that Regulator is known for while bringing fishing and lifestyle features to a whole new level.

“Each model will have a suite of special-edition amenities that allow our customers to personalize their ride, but’s that’s only the beginning,” said Regulator Marine co-founder and president Joan Maxwell. “The redesign of the Regulator 34 delivers increased versatility with the addition of sleeping accommodations, rod racks, optional cockpit galley, and convertible sunbed/pedestal table. The Regulator 41 will now be equipped with the award-winning Seakeeper Gyro, and additional upgrades throughout the line give anglers and families the opportunity to pursue everything they love about life on the water.”

The most significant transformations to Regulator’s 2018 fleet may very well be the 34 and 34SS, both of which now stake claim to a starboard boarding and dive door with removable folding ladder and flip-up backrests on the forward seating for maximum comfort. The Regulator 34 will also return to its roots, with sleeping accommodations for two and rod racks for up to 11 rods in the berth, optional cockpit galley seating, and convertible fiberglass sunbed/pedestal table. Serious anglers will love the optional insulated/macerated aft floor fishbox, and everyone aboard will enjoy the cooling energy of the optional helm air conditioner.

The Regulator 23 now boasts big boat features including a new standard tuna door, as well as optional through stem bow roller with anchor windlass, remote switch, chain, rope, and anchor. Plus, both the Regulator 23 and 25 will be equipped with a newly-redesigned standard SuperSport Leaning Post and Tackle Center to deliver comfort and convenience offshore.

Beyond specific model enhancements, every Regulator from the 28 to the 41 will now feature a standard Yamaha CL7 Touchscreen Display, and all models from the 31 to the 41 will feature Set Point Technology with the optional Yamaha Helm Master. Programmed using Yamaha’s new CL7 touchscreen display, engaged via the new joystick, and guided with dual-antenna navigation technology, this powerful new suite of standards provides more control at every turn. In addition, all electronics on every model from the 28 to the 41 will now have black flush mount facings and an optional Edson Elite Carbon Wheel with Power Knob.

All models will have the option of Lenco Marine Auto Glide so that Regulator owners can drive their boat to the optimum running angle by simply adjusting Lenco trim tabs. This incredible new feature reduces the amount of bow rise of the boat during hole shot mode, eliminates bow bounce, and keeps the boat level at all times as it maximizes fuel efficiency. In addition, every model will include the options of remote-controlled ACR RCL Spotlight, factory‐installed Garmin GXM 53 SiriusXM Weather Antenna Upgrade, cockpit freshwater engine flush, and Backcove or Storm Gray powder coat packages and upholstery to add a custom touch.

“We are so excited to celebrate 30 years with exciting new additions to every model,” said Maxwell. “When we started our company with one boat and a dream in an A&P grocery store down the street, we never imagined that this is where life would take us. We are very proud of what our team has accomplished and grateful to our customers. We look forward to the next generation of Regulator.”
