A Legendary Fish Named ‘Pig Nose’ Was Caught for the Second year in a Row

Nick McCabe has formed a unique bond with a legendary creature. Pig Nose, a sturgeon of Fraser River in British Columbia, is an impressive specimen, weighing in at more than 700 pounds and measuring 10 feet in length—longer than a tall man and wider than a curbside mailbox, according to Atlas Obscura. Last year, McCabe, a guide for River Monster Adventures, managed to capture the near-mythical fish after a two-hour battle.
