STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — When it came to planning the trip, the usual questions arose: What section of the Colorado River should we take our guests on for a leisurely afternoon? Pumphouse to Radium was a 4-mile stretch; Radium to Rancho was longer, but calmer; and State Bridge and Two Bridges had better fishing. The final decision was made when a music festival was taken into account.
