    Freighter Runs Aground in Duluth Harbor, Thrilling Ship Watchers

    On Sunday afternoon, the Aerial Lift Bridge in Duluth was shut down to vessel traffic due to the 991-foot freighter American Spirit running aground in the harbor. The ship was carrying a load of iron ore pellets.
