Octogenarian Fulfills Lifelong Ambition by Sailing Canal in Handmade Dinghy

An octogenarian cancer survivor has ticked off a lifelong ambition by navigating the Grand Western Canal in a homemade dinghy.

Michael Lane, 80, from Rackenford has previously sailed across the Atlantic and has been a lover of nautical activities since the age of eight.
