Polish Sailor Sets Record Sailing Smallest Sailboat Nonstop Around the World

Szymon Kuczynski, a Polish sailor, has achieved a new record for the smallest sailboat to circumnavigate the world single-handedly and without stopping. On August 19, 2017, he set sail from Plymouth, England, on his 20-foot, 10-inch vessel, the Atlantic Puffin. After a voyage of 270 days, he returned to Plymouth Harbor on May 17, having completed a journey of almost 30,000 miles.
