The volunteer is building a boat with some of the young people at Bashor Children’s Home in Goshen, a facility for troubled kids. 1. This is a great project! Having someone take their time to volunteer and teach kids to have confidence building a boat from raw wood, using hand tools and blueprints is great. Especially when the kids have no experience in this type of work is fabulous. Giving kids a person who teaches the science and art of this work is amazing. thanks for connecting the article. let me know if this ends up in the magazine i’d like to buy it.
