Veering of winds through the next day due to passage of upper level
trough and frontal boundary bring southerly winds tonight and entry
of surface level high pressure bring winds to westerly and
eventually back to easterly by late Friday night. Then, through the
weekend, southerly winds dominate. Generally, speeds will be in the
10kt range, but the period of northerly winds Thursday night through
Friday night, speeds will be up to the 20G25kt range for a short
time and a Small Craft Advisory is anticipated.
Conditions are right for development of fog over inland water bodies
as well as offshore. Therefore, a Dense Fog Advisory is in effect
from midnight tonight through 9am Thursday morning.
