including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.
A tightening pressure gradient will lead to increasing southeast
winds and building seas as we head through the rest of the work
week.
Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected
through early Friday. Moderate southeast winds will continue
through Friday morning. Periods of unsettled weather are expected
this weekend into early next week with coastal areas sandwiched
between a weak, slow moving frontal boundary along the coast and a
broad, elongated trough of low pressure stretching southward
across the western Gulf. Northeast winds will increase and
precipitation decrease as the front tracks further offshore.
