.Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 25 NM...
An area of convergence will set up across the coastal waters tonight,
with offshore winds south of the trough and onshore to the north.
Within this area periods of heavy snow are likely with visibility
below one quarter mile at times. Winds will also be gusty on the
north side of the trough, and these winds will sweep south across all
waters through Wednesday. A brief period of gale force gusts are
likely outside of the bays. Briefly high pressure will build over the
waters and allow winds and seas to diminish, but rather quickly a
strong cold front will cross the region and deliver another round of
strong wind gusts. Gale force gusts are possible for all waters
Thursday night into Friday.
