.Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 25 NM...
Winds and seas continue to diminish this evening as a warm front
approaches the waters from the west. After midnight some light snow
will be possible, especially the coastal waters around Jeffreys
Ledge. That light snow will move south and east by midday Saturday
and allow for some fair weather through most of Sunday. Southerly
winds begin to increase Monday and conditions hazardous for small
craft are possible behind that warm front. Rain will overspread the
waters and continue into the evening, possibly with some areas of fog
developing. A cold front will cross the waters Monday night and
westerly winds will become gusty. Gale force wind gusts are possible
through Tuesday as colder air returns.
