Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 15Z, or 8 AM PDT, a 1030 MB high was
centered 700 NM northwest of Point Conception. A 1008 MB thermal
low was located in southern Nevada. Strong to gale force NW winds
and dangerous choppy seas will affect the outer waters much of the
time into the middle of the week.
