.SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS...Northerlies are
forecast to gradually subside today north of Cape Mendocino, but
are likely to remain breezy south of Cape Mendocino. Steep seas
are likely though this evening south of Cape Mendocino. Winds
waves are combining with a decaying mid-period swell. Winds ease
this weekend, however a mid-period northwest swell fills in on
Saturday which will keep seas elevated. Light winds are expected
to continue into early next week.
