.SYNOPSIS...
High pressure will be across south Florida today with decreasing
offshore westerly winds. Weak low pressure will develop to the west
over the lower Mississippi Valley later today and shift eastward
across the southeastern states on Saturday before moving offshore on
Saturday night. This storm system will bring showers and a few
embedded thunderstorms to the waters Saturday and Saturday night,
along with Small Craft Advisory conditions for the offshore waters.
A few thunderstorms could be strong. Breezy northerly winds will
move into the waters as the system exits to the east and a cold
front moves through the waters Sunday morning. North-northeasterly
winds will prevail Monday as high pressure builds over the Mid-
Atlantic states.
