Light northerly winds this morning are forecast to veer to an
easterly direction across the local Atlantic waters and a
northwesterly direction across the local Gulf waters this afternoon.
Wave heights across both the Atlantic and Gulf waters are forecast
to remain in the 2-3 feet range today. The enhancement of surface
winds across the Atlantic waters late Sunday will result in a
gradual increase in wave heights across the Gulf stream waters to 4-
6 feet by Sunday night into early Monday. Higher wave heights are
possible into the day on Monday across the Atlantic waters as winds
will continue to enhance and northeasterly swell increases. This may
result in a period of hazardous conditions during the early week
period, this will be monitored over the next couple of days. A few
isolated showers are possible today across the Gulfstream waters.
