.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A trough west of Kauai will gradually weaken and retrograde
westward through Friday. Meanwhile, a surface ridge will
strengthen well northeast of the state and bring a return of
moderate to locally strong east to east southeast flow through
this weekend. A moderate to large northwest swell, combined with
increasing winds, will lead to combined seas in excess of 10 feet
for exposed waters.
