the Gulf Stream, leading to occasionally poor boating conditions.
As high pressure moves north of Bermuda, winds veer southeasterly
through Thursday. A weak surface trough and cold front trek
across through the waters on Friday, winds turn offshore to end
the work week. Scattered showers are forecast through Friday, with
an isolated thunderstorm also possible from Thursday through
early Friday. Winds quickly turn back out of the northeast this
weekend as high pressure settles off Cape Hatteras.
