.Synopsis for Jupiter Inlet to Ocean Reef FL out to 60 nm and for
East Cape Sable to Bonita Beach FL out to 60 nm...
A gentle to moderate flow pattern over the local waters will shift
back to an east-northeast breeze today and become southeasterly over
the weekend. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are
expected to develop as well each day as a frontal boundary stalls
out over the area and a low pressure system pushes across the area.
These elevated rain chances will persist through this weekend and
into early next. Frequent cloud to ground lightning, small to large
hail, strong winds and heavy downpours will all be possible with any
storms and may cause locally chaotic seas. With this system, seas
will rise to 5-7 feet in the Atlantic waters today through Saturday.
Gulf Stream Hazards: 7 foot seas.
The approximate location of the west wall of the Gulf Stream as of
Mar 12, 2026.
174 nautical miles south southeast of Fowey Rocks.
138 nautical miles south southeast of Port Everglades.
99 nautical miles south southeast of Lake Worth.
80 nautical miles south southeast of Jupiter Inlet.
