.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Areas of sea fog will continue to impact our waters this
afternoon. Sea fog coverage should initially decrease early this
afternoon, before gradually becoming more widespread by either
later this afternoon or evening. The general pattern will favor
periods of dense fog through this weekend, especially at night and
during the morning. However, directional shifts in the winds may
result in longer breaks in the fog on Friday and the weekend. A
strong cold front pushes offshore late Sunday night, bringing
strong winds and building seas in its wake. The chance of gale
force wind gusts continues to increase, particularly over the
Gulf. Sustained gales cannot be ruled out in the offshore waters.
