.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...
Offshore buoys early this morning were observing westerly swell of 1
to 2 feet at 6 to 8 seconds. The longer-period westerly swell will
favor a high risk of rip currents mainly along west-facing beaches of
Gulf County, especially during enhancement from the afternoon
seabreeze. Westerly winds will increase a bit from Sunday through
Wednesday, expanding the high risk designation to include Bay and
sometimes Walton Counties.
