Surf Zone Forecast
National Weather Service Tallahassee FL

.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Light to moderate southeasterly to southerly winds of 5 to 15 mph
are expected along the coast today. Wave heights are forecast to be
closer to 1 foot along most of our beaches today, which will bring a
Moderate Risk of Rip Currents at area beaches. Onshore winds and wave
heights increase again later Wednesday into Thursday and Friday.
Couple that with longer period swells arriving from the southern Gulf
and a High Risk of Rip Currents is anticipated at most, if not all,
area beaches Wednesday through Friday.
