.SYNOPSIS...
Winds will decrease slightly tonight and into New Years Day, as a
surface high pressure center moves from the northwest Gulf to the
eastern Gulf. As this high shifts east into Friday, southerly and
then westerly flow will increase into the weekend as a low
pressure system passes across Alabama and Georgia. Expect
cautionary or advisory level conditions to develop Friday night,
especially across western waters. A few strong storms are possible
on Saturday as well until the cold front cold front passes
Saturday night. Winds should begin to subside again by early next
week as surface high pressure moves back in.
