.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Onshore flow continues today and will be augmented by the sea breeze
by mid to late morning. Surf heights are forecast to be around 2
feet for most of the area beaches by the afternoon. It is worth
noting that the period of the southerly swell at Buoy 42036 has
decreased to around 4 to 5 seconds the past few observations. Still,
a High Risk of Rip Currents remains in effect for today and will be
reassessed later this morning with the update around Noon EDT/11am
CDT.
