The 3Mâ„¢ Marine Adhesive Sealant 4000 UV is a highly versatile, medium-strength, moisture-curing sealant ideal for various bedding, caulking, and sealing tasks onboard marine vessels. The product is highly commendable for its aesthetic appeal, capabilities for both above and below waterline applications, and its excellent UV resistance.

The sealant effectively forms a firm, flexible, and waterproof seal on different types of materials such as aluminum, wood, gel coat, and fiberglass. The flexibility of the sealant enables it to dissipate stress caused by shock, vibration, swelling, or shrinking. It is especially suitable for sealing mechanically fastened joints on wood, fiberglass, metal, and most plastics, including ABS and Lexan.
