We know some of our country’s founding fathers spent considerable time on boats. Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson crossed the Atlantic more than once, and George Washington made a memorable crossing on what he probably wished were a larger vessel, but we’ve not heard any stories of them naming a boat. We’re here to help. If these founders had owned a boat, here are our suggestions for a name.
- George Washington: George UU > George III
- Patrick Henry: …Or a Boat
- Ben Franklin: Kite-Kraft
- Thomas Jefferson: I Do Declare
- John Hancock: Signature Achievement
