Found: Shipwrecks, Helmets, and Clues from an Ancient Roman Naval Battle

Although it has been two millennia since the Battle of the Aegates Islands occurred, archaeologists are still able to uncover what happened. A group of researchers are currently exploring a Mediterranean site close to Sicily, and they are using the artifacts they find to construct a story of the ancient Roman-Carthaginian confrontation.
