The Abbotsford, B.C. police have issued a warning to drivers towing boats this summer, citing a recent incident in which a motorist was fined for an improper towing job. The vehicle was stopped and it was discovered that the boat was being transported on wooden pallets and held together with duct tape. The driver was fined a total of $2,071.
