Thousands of Venomous Portuguese Man O’ Wars Wash Ashore in Australia

Last week, an Australian couple encountered a strange sight while visiting the rocks near Bateman’s Bay in New South Wales. Thousands of Portuguese man o’ wars, also known as bluebottles, had been washed ashore. Unfortunately, this is something we may have to become accustomed to in our increasingly warm climate.
