RIO, Wis. — The squeaky wheel may get the grease, but the quietly determined students in the Advanced Manufacturing and Processes class get the admiration.
“It’s nice to see that other people have trust in what we’re doing and we can apply what we’re learning,” said Jacob Black, a junior at Rio High School.
Each day from September to February, about 16 students from freshman to seniors collaborated to build a custom airboat with the gentle guidance of Chuck Wais, instructor of technology and engineering at the school.
