“Both MarineMax Vacations and Aquila Power Catamarans have been experiencing tremendous growth,” says Brett McGill, CEO and president of MarineMax. “Dave has been leading the MarineMax Vacations and Aquila International Sales divisions, so it was a natural transition to appoint him vice president.”
Dave Bigge joined MarineMax when the company merged with Port Arrowhead in Lake of the Ozarks over 12 years ago. He has spent time working under various titles, including general manager, regional president and director of operations. In his new role, Dave will be responsible for sales and operations of MarineMax Vacations. Additionally, he will be responsible for growing international sales for Aquila Power Catamarans which includes the global sales team and the continued growth of our Aquila dealers worldwide.
“The charter vacations business introduces thousands of people to boating in great destinations like the British Virgin Islands and the home of our new Vacations base, the Bahamas,” states Biggie. “Aquila Power Catamarans are extremely durable and easy to operate, dramatically raising the bar in charter boat vacations. Aquila has been making waves with innovative strides in the marine industry. We’ve seen explosive growth in international markets with the opportunity for continued global expansion. The next few years are going to be exciting with many more innovations, new models and added technologies Aquila will be introducing.”
